The main problem is simple: systems fail to explain why they acted because decision-time evidence is not preserved. Logs, traces, databases, Stripe state, and old rules force post-hoc reconstruction.

StateMirror preserves submitted decision-time evidence. PlanSignal, DenySignal, and ExpirySignal are supporting read primitives and evidence shapes. The application reads state, applies business logic, and owns every decision and action.

STATEMIRROR FRAME

CORE v1.0.0 / STANDARD ARTIFACT

StateMirror Core v1.0.0 is released. It preserves decision evidence, verifies payload/hash/chain integrity, supports snapshot inspection, and exports evidence for review.

StateMirror Core is the open-source core. StateMirror Standard is the packaged self-hosted commercial artifact. Verification means evidence integrity only, not decision correctness, policy correctness, or upstream truth.

State is queried. Decisions are made. Actions remain application-owned. StateMirror does not decide, enforce, evaluate policy, execute workflows, replace observability, or own application behavior.

Early SimpleStates prototype for Stripe subscription state. SignalRelay observes external state and exposes it locally for application consumption. It does not define decisions or system truth.
