Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of SimpleStates software products ("Software") provided by the SimpleStates project.
By purchasing, downloading, or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.
SimpleStates products are delivered as self-hosted software codebases, including source code, configuration files, and documentation.
SimpleStates does not provide a hosted service, managed runtime, control plane, or background execution.
You are solely responsible for deploying, configuring, operating, and maintaining the Software in your own environment.
This includes responsibility for system behavior, security, data integrity, availability, compliance, and operational outcomes.
The Software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimpleStates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Software.
SimpleStates products emit deterministic state signals only. They do not authenticate users, authorize actions, enforce policies, or guarantee outcomes.
You are responsible for all decisions and enforcement logic built on top of the emitted signals.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
